The Pittsburgh Hilton and Towers guarantees our block of
rooms and rates for 30 days prior to the meeting. This
deadline is today! Although the hotel will probably
extend the deadline, to ensure that you have a room at
the rates guaranteed for the BGA meeting, make your
reservations as soon as possible.
The Three Rivers Arts Festival, a multi-disciplinary visual
and performing arts event, will be in progress in the parks
and terraces surrounding the hotel at the time of the meeting.
This will make our meeting venue quite interesting, but could
make it difficult to find a hotel room without reservations
guaranteed in advance.
Our block of rooms is at the Pittsburgh Hilton and Towers,
Gateway Center, 500 Commonwealth Place, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania
15222 (Telephone 412-391-4600; Fax 412-594-5161) at the rate
of $119 for a single room, $139 for a double or twin, $350
for suites, and $20 for an additional person. State and local
taxes (12%) are additional. Immediate reservations can be
made by calling the Hilton Reservations Worldwide system toll-
free at 1-800-HILTONS (1-800-445-8667) 24 hours daily, through
a professional travel agent, or directly with the hotel.
