Heredity, Nervous System, and Behavior

Georgetown University, Washington, USA. 15-16 November, 1996

Satellite Symposium to the 26th Annual Meeting, Society for=20
Neuroscience

The purpose of the symposium is to present current research=20
using quantitative and molecular genetic approaches to further=20
our understanding of brain and behavior; a wide variety of=20
topics are covered. This year's program includes sessions on=20
genetic analysis of structure and function of the cerebellum=20
(Chairs: J. Mariani, France, and S. Vicini, USA), hereditary=20
diseases with neurological effects (Chairs: D. Nash and J.=20
Richert, USA), recombinant DNA techniques in neurobehavioral=20
genetic research (Chairs: W.E. Crusio, France/NL, and R.=20
Gerlai, USA), and neurobehavioral genetics and aggression=20
(Chair: P.L. Roubertoux, France), as well as a contributed=20
poster session. Invited speakers include: E. Alleva (Italy),=20
