FOUR-YEAR POSTDOCTORAL POSITION
IN GENETIC EPIDEMIOLOGY AND BEHAVIOURAL GENETICS
Professor Hans Ormel has asked me to bring to your attention a 4-year
postdoctoral position in genetic epidemiology and behavioral genetics,
especially as relevant to complex psychiatric disorders. Professor Ormel
is head of the Division of Social Psychiatry in the Department of Pychiatry
at the University of Groningen in The Netherlands. Professor Ormel is also
a Visiting Professor with the Centre for Social, Genetic and Developmental
Psychiatry at the Institute of Psychiatry in London and the position will
involve liaison and collaboration with the Centre in London.
Please bring this postdoctoral position to the attention of relevant researchers.
I believe the postdoctoral provides an excellent opportunity to work
with a world-class researcher who wishes to combine social and genetic
epidemiology and to be in on the ground floor on new research initiatives
in Europe. The position is well paid--from about US$30,000 to $45,000
annually, depending on experience.
