Participants The congress is open to all persons interested in
studies of twins. It will be of particular interest to those
professionally involved in the care of multiple births, development of
twins and triplets, and to scientists doing research in relevant
fields.
Abstract deadline Abstract submissions for posters and oral papers
should be received by March 31, 1998. Details about abstract

Main topic areas Design and analysis of twin studies; issues in the
management of twin pregnancy; fetal programming, cardiovascular
disease and twins; biology and genetics of twinning; twin and
twin-family studies of psychopathology, sleep disorders, neurological
disease, asthma and allergy; abnormal and normal development in
childhood and adolescence; longitudinal studies of substance abuse and
twin studies of health-related behaviors (smoking, physical activity,
alcohol use etc.); differences and similarities between singletons and
twins, and between DZ and MZ twins; Parents of twins, and twin and
triplet associations and clubs
