The abstracts for BGA 1998 are now available on line. I have made them
available in two ways: (1) Individual abstracts, each in its own file,
are linked to their entries in the program. If you want to print a single
abstract, find it in the program, click on its title, and print what comes
up. (2) All abstracts are available together in one large file. This
should be used if you want to print out all of the abstracts. It is also
useful if you want to browse the abstracts or search for some term or
string. Go to this URL and you will easily find the links to abstracts
and the program:

http://www.bga.org/1998/

Also available from a link at that URL is a page of information about
Sweden and Stockholm that I put together. A British engineer ran across
it and told me that it was the best source of tourist information for
Stockholm that she could find on the web. I believe her because I put a
lot of effort into finding all the good stuff and compiling it in one
place. Of course, I made the page for the BGA, not for British engineers,
so I hope you'll use it too. At least print out the Swedish --> English
dictionary of food words!

There were a few small errors in the program that was mailed on Friday.
Any errors I was aware of are fixed in the on-line version of the program.
Two posters were left off of the printed program. Hur te al. will be
Poster #13 in Poster Session I, and Reiss et al. will be Poster #12 in
Poster Session II. Here are the titles and authors:

The importance of environmental influences on scholastic achievement in
Bedouin full and half siblings.
Yoon-Mi Hur, S. Elbedour, Hasan Abu Saad

Psychological adjustment in women: The Twinmoms study.
David Reiss, Paul Lichtenstein, Marianne Cederblad, Kjell Hansson, Olle
Elthammar, Jenae M Neiderhiser, Nancy L Pedersen

In addition, if it wasn't changed on the printed program, the 1997
Dobzhansky Award went to Ron Johnson, not Ron Johnston, and the 1989
Thompson Award winner wishes to be called Susan Felsenfeld instead of
Susan Parlour.

I'll see you in Stockholm!

Mike
