Regarding last message and other mail problems

I just want to clarify something. The e-mail software that sends out
these messages is creating some problems. It has (partially) botched
my last three messages to the list. The most recent one (sent today) was
a message by Raquel Gur, forwarded by me. The following lines were at the
beginning of the message I sent, but they did not appear in the message
that went out to you.

>From: Raquel Gur <raquel@bblmail.psycha.upenn.edu>

(I just added the greater-than symbols on the left now because I think it
may prevent some problems.) Instead, the message said that it was from
both Raquel Gur and me. The message was forwarded to the SZRESEARCH list
by the BGA Announce list even though I did not request that. I hope they
don't mind!

In two earlier messages about NIH fellowships, I had included a URL as the
first line of each message. Those were deleted by the list software.

So it looks like the software has problems with the early lines in the
message body.
