Job Description:
The Department of Psychology at Wake Forest University invites applications for a tenure-track
position in our Analysis and Measurement Theme within an Open Content Area to begin
July, 2027. We are seeking applicants whose scholarship advances methodology,
measurement, or research design in psychological and behavioral science. The ideal candidate
will also have comparable expertise in a content area that complements existing strengths of the
Department. Examples of complementing expertise include but are not limited to research
focused on the study of prejudice, bias, discrimination, stereotyping, or other questions within
diversity science; or work that addresses psychological questions involving artificial intelligence.
We welcome candidates whose work expands our Analysis and Measurement theme through
quantitative, qualitative, or mixed-methods approaches.
The successful candidates will publish and teach in Analysis and Measurement and their
content area; they will also supervise undergraduate research assistants, honors students, and
Masters students. We have a strong commitment to the development of a diverse and inclusive

Skillful teaching is a key responsibility, with a course load of four (4) courses per academic year
that includes courses at introductory and advanced undergraduate levels and may include
graduate level courses. Additionally, the successful candidate will maintain a robust program of
scholarship, in keeping with standards of the discipline, and support the Wake Forest University
mission through service to the department, the College of Liberal Arts, and the university.
Position Qualifications: An earned Ph.D. in Psychology or a related field is required for the
position; ABD candidates are invited to apply. Qualified applicants will demonstrate their ability
to teach courses in their area(s) of expertise as well as more general courses at the
undergraduate and/or graduate levels; initiate and sustain original research and scholarship in
their area(s) of expertise; supervise student research; and contribute to an academic
environment that fosters learning and growth for all its members.
